“COVID-19 has made the world a very uncertain place for everyone, including small business owners. Which is why it’s so frustrating to watch as two government agencies actively seek to add to that uncertainty.

I’m talking here about the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Small Business Administration (SBA).

The former has spent the past few weeks poking holes in the parachute given to small businesses to keep them from crashing into the ground. The latter has made those same small businesses question whether they’d be better off without any parachute at all.”
